| Prerequisites: |
|
- Vehicle at standstill
- Turn system selector switch to heating-ventilation-climate control (HLK) position (see electrical key)
- Drive switch on (drive switch to step 2, drive position)

| Fault output via display on control panel: |
|
- Hold down check key (red) for at least two seconds
|
|
|

a) |
Display when system free from faults. |
|
 |
|
|
b) |
Display example for a system which is free from faults with stored faults (faulty segment in segment bar on lower edge of display; in example display, this is segment no. 6) |

|
c) |
Display example for a system with a current fault. |

| Note: |
- If there are a number of faults present, then you can scroll through these using the "+" key on the control panel.

| Clear fault memory |
|
|
- Press and hold down the check key with the drive switch at off,
- switch on the drive switch (step 2, drive position),
- release the check key after at least two seconds.
