	Read out fault memory Prerequisites: Vehicle at standstill Turn system selector switch to EDC (2) position (see electrical key) Drive switch on (drive switch to step 2, drive position) Fault output via EDC fault lights (yellow): Press check key (red) for at least two seconds (EDC control lights come on while key is pressed). Notes: The fault memory can be read out while the engine is at a standstill or while it is running. The diagnostics always output one fault only. To find out whether a number of faults are stored, the fault code output must be repeated until the fault which was displayed first reappears.
	Example of a flashing code output (EDC fault lights) 0 EDC fault lights off 1 EDC fault lights on 2 two long flashes 3 three short flashes meaning of this flashing code (two long, three short): "CAN signal gearbox control unit"
	Clear fault memory Press and hold down the check key with the drive switch at off, Switch on the drive switch (step 2, drive position), release the check key after three seconds (do not hold it down for more than ten seconds) Note: The check key only clears the flash codes fault memory, the faults can still be read out for MAN-cats.
