Read out fault memory
Prerequisites:
  • Vehicle at standstill
  • Turn system selector switch to ABS position (see electrical key)
  • Drive switch off and on again = Reset (drive switch to step 2, drive position)
Fault output via ASR info lights (yellow):
  • Hold down check key (red) for at least two seconds. The configuration is output.
  • Then hold down check key again for at least two seconds.
Notes:
  • Each fault is output in three blocks (hundreds, tens, units), which are separated from one another by a pause (approx. three seconds).
  • If a number of faults is stored, then these will be output in the chronological order in which they occurred, and each fault must be called up individually using the check key.
 
Setting up the flashing sequence (ASR lights or INA) using an example:
0 ASR lights off
1 ASR lights on
2 Release check key
3 Check key held down
4 three second pause
5 Configuration code (in example => 2)
6 most recent stored fault (in example => 312)
7 fault prior to most recent stored fault (in example => 322)
 
Clear fault memory
  • Press and hold down the check key with the drive switch at off,
  • switch on the drive switch (step 2, drive position),
  • release the check key after at least two seconds.
