Prerequisites: |
- Vehicle at standstill
- Turn system selector switch to ABS position (see electrical key)
- Drive switch off and on again = Reset (drive switch to step 2, drive position)
- For vehicles with ASR press the brake pedal once. This turns the yellow ASR info lights off.
- Wait at least two seconds.
Fault output via red ABS warning light: |
- Hold down check key (red) for at least two seconds.
Notes: |
- The fault output, in the form of a flash code, begins one second after the check key is released. Each fault is output in two blocks which are separated from one another by a pause (approx. 1.5 seconds). Flashing pauses for approximately 4.5 seconds before the next fault is output.
- If a number of faults is stored, then these will be output in the reverse order in which they occurred, (the most recent fault is output first).
