Turn system selector switch to ABS position (see electrical key)
Drive switch off and on again = Reset (drive switch to step 2, drive position)
Wait at least two seconds.
Configuration output via red ABS warning light:
Hold down check key (red) for at least two seconds
Release check key (red) (maximum one second)
Hold down check key (red) for at least two seconds.

Configuring the control system
The configuration procedure corresponds to clearing the fault memory (see"Clear fault memory").
Note:
When the check key is used for configuring, only "upwards learning" is possible. This means that the configuring process only works if newly configurated components are added to those already configured by the control system. (Therefore, for example, a control system configured for SL on the front shaft can be adapted to a vehicle with IRM , but not the other way around.)
